Whose Journey are you thinking about?

Here is your stone!! God has created a plan for us and it will take a great deal of prayer as we make this journey. But what about someone else and their journey? Any involvement for us? "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds," (Hebrews 10:24 NIV). Who are you spurring on? How can you commit today to pray for someone? Also let them know you are. Live it out!!

Preparation for Explanation

Here is your stone!! "But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect," (1 Peter 3:15 NIV). Your testimony changes everyday and so do those you encounter. Every challenge, success, failure, and accomplishment are for a purpose. The purpose is to share how God has taken you through it or gotten you to it. There is really only one major obstacle that gets in the way of our sharing our testimony, our own faith. Are you prepared to share? Today may be the day that your path gets crossed. Live it out!!

Death is Behind.

Here is your stone!! ""Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life." (John 5:24 NIV). I love the way God's word starts out here with John saying, "Hey, listen here! If you can hear me, you can be saved." YOUR choice to move or sit idle. It's a life giving decision. How will you decide? Live it out or walk away?

Unlikely - Chosen

Here is your stone!! "But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong." (1 Corinthians 1:27 NIV). Cast out your self doubt and thoughts of those who criticize you or put you down. God will prepare you for His Great Work. Live it out!!

Have I told you my story?

Here is your stone!! "Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what He has done for me." (Psalm 66:16 NIV). Isn't it amazing how many Christ followers we meet yet we hardly ever hear about their testimony. Why?? I mean if you met someone that knew a common person, that common person had saved your life one day, would you talk about that? Then why, if we are true believers, do we fail to talk about that major point in our lives? If we are believers in Jesus, let us also BE Alive with Him. Live it Out!!!

Team captains..

Here is your stone!! Do you remember being a kid and picking teams for sports or games? Many times you would sit there and know which team you wanted to be picked for, and then it happened. YES!! I am on the right team. High fives and smiles, because you knew without a doubt, your team would win and that the team captain picked YOU! Well imagine its game time and teams are being picked.
"Blessed are those You choose
and bring near to live in Your courts!
We are filled with the good things of your house, of Your holy temple." (Psalm 65:4 NIV). We must remember that God chose us first to be on His team, the Winning Team. As a player are we growing, strengthening, and helping the team? Are we living it all out? Go out today and know that it is game on and we must be active to make a difference. There may be others that know our play book, but don't understand the power of our passion and heart.

What is up with the QT?

Here is your stone!! "Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed." (Mark 1:35 NIV). Sometimes I get asked or hear others ask the question, "What's up with doing this quiet time in the mornings?". WE not just some; WE are called to be Jesus juniors. Too Busy? He came to save the world, seems to me like a big work load. To tired to get up? He died for you, makes the sacrifice we make seem a little trivial doesn't it? Don't wait, just start living it!!!

Someone is watching you..

Here is your stone!! "Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses;" (2 Corinthians 6:4 NIV). In times of great events - Praise and Glory be to God, but what about the not so pretty times? Are you at a loss of sleep during the night? Or standing firm as you look to the Light? What do others see in you when the world around you crumbles? Are they seeing fright or The Light!! Live it out!

Have you brushed today?

Here is your stone!! "Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble," (2 Peter 1:10 NIV). God has called each of us, His children, to follow His plan. Hopefully each of us brush our teeth daily. If at that time, we allow ourselves to confirm God's calling of our lives. Reflecting on that calling and reinforcing that calling, daily, will strengthen the walk and the talk. When was the last time you brushed!? Begin today!! Live it out!!!

You lift me up!!

Here is your stone!! "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10 NIV). We all face some type of battle and wonder how we will be able to win or overcome!? The answer is Jesus!! God is about helping His people. Not only will He provide the courage and strength, but in those moments when the battle is heavy and wearing on you, it will be His hand that will lift you up!! He will lift you up!! Will you Live It Out?!!

Get a life!!

Here is your stone!! "Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life." (1 John 5:12 NIV). God's word is simple and clear, yet so many stiff arm God, saying its too complicated. What? Too complicated? Read it and get a life that God will use for AMAZING things. One single step for you today, one Giant step towards eternity!! Live it out!!

Good morning, Good day.

Here is your stone!! "In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly." (Psalm 5:3). Have you ever heard this phrase? "I'm not a morning person..". Possibly something we have said ourselves. As I read this, it was a reminder that He created this day and if we seek Him early in it and become expectant- it changes the entire day. Have you ever gotten up and had a great day, knowing that later on that day you were going to have something exciting happening (date, vacation, event, etc.). Think about the excitement of looking back and seeing all of the prayer and blessings that you prayed for that morning and how God delivers. Be up and be expectant. He is waiting!!

Grow Forward!!

Here is your stone!! "Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it!". (2 Corinthians 5:17 MSG). I love this verse and in all versions. ANYONE UNITED with the MESSIAH!! Is that you? Looking inside!! It is more than just how you walk in your life. It is how you bleed, breath & think. We look forward with the internal change and allow that internal to show on the outside. Once you have given it all to Jesus, it is GONE!! Leave it!! Now a NEW LIFE is ahead. Grow forward!!! Live it out!!!

Light, Space, Zest.....

Here is your stone!! "Light, space, zest-that's God! So, with him on my side I'm fearless, afraid of no one and nothing." (Psalm 27:1 MSG).
Now you have His word. Believe this and attack this day ahead of you with passion. Can you live it out? If so, How? Be prepared for God to use you today.

Cloudy today but CLEAR tomorrow.

Here is your stone!! "Jesus replied, "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand." "(John 13:7 NIV). Now how many times could we hear that same message? We get so caught up in the "what is happening right now world" that we lose sight of what God is going to do in that situation. The power of the resurrection came only after the pain of the crucifixion. Why? Jesus is our savior! There are greater things than these ahead. As we have taught the kids "Faith is believing in something you can not see.". How clear tomorrow is, could be determined by how cloudy you make the truth today. Live it out and give it to Him!!!

Game on!!

Here is your stone!! "I'm charging you before the life-giving God and before Christ, who took his stand before Pontius Pilate and didn't give an inch: Keep this command to the letter, and don't slack off. Our Master, Jesus Christ, is on his way." (1 Timothy 6:13, 14 MSG). We made a public decision and commitment to serve the King and to stand firm. No giving up and no slacking off. Are you ready? Live it out!!

Faith & Courage

Here is your stone!! "If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is ABLE to deliver us from it, and He WILL deliver us from Your Majesty's hand." (Daniel 3:17 NIV). Faith and courage. On the brink of death, no hesitation. I love the fact that they recognize the difference in God's ability and will. They know He can deliver them from the fire, but He will deliver them from going against His commands. Is it the fire in front or the fire within that drives You to serve the King? Live it from within!!!

Big Shoes BIG Faith!!

Here is your stone!! "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9 NIV). This is God speaking to Joshua. What was Joshua facing? Well, he was given the role of leader. He was replacing Moses! No worries right? I mean Moses had only survived the killing of babies when he was one himself, spoke to God in a burning bush, watched 10 plaques occur as he was told, lead God's people out of captivity, parted the Red Sea, and was the one chosen by God to write the 10 commandments, and a few other things as well. So what would Joshua have to worry about? Easy shoes to fill. I am sure there had to have been some doubt, but as God speaks to Joshua, it was His Faith that spoke through him and all of the people began to follow him. As a leader in any capacity, are people seeing your faith? How big is your desert? How about shoes you may be asked to fill? Let faith be what fills it all up. No Fear - Just Faith!!! Live it out!!

Give Up or Give In.

Here is your stone!! "God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that. The Cross: The Irony of God's Wisdom". (1 Corinthians 1:9 MSG). How often do things not go "our" way? Times when we begin to think we are letting God down. Do you find that you struggle with that thought? He knows you're not perfect and that you never will be. That's what allows Him to show His love. Your failures allow Him to show Grace. So don't Give Up on the plan, Give In to the plan. God's Plan for You. Live it out!!!

Believe in Faith.

Here is your stone!! "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him." (Hebrews 11:6 NIV). To have faith is to believe and when you believe you prove your belief in His existence. When others watch or hear of our walks, are we sharing the belief of God's existence and His presence? Faith - Will you live it out?!

Triple H.

Here is your stone!! "but sometimes our humble hearts can help us more than our proud minds." (1 Corinthians 8:2 MSG). Humble Hearts Help - Triple H. You read this and think about the last frustrating situation you were in. One thing is almost a guarantee, You were not 100% in the right. This is so true in almost all situations. We see things one way, another sees it differently, and the clash of the knowers begins and then the pride creeps in. Yep, once the Pride gets there - Doors of Progress begin shutting down. WE have to humble ourselves and realize that none of us are perfect and that different approaches to the same goal is growth and adds a greater knowledge. To get there WE not They, must humble our hearts and open those doors. The size of the issue varies, the solution stays the same. How can WE live it out today?

Listen & Lead

Here is your stone!! "The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice." (Proverbs 12:15 NIV). We have heard so many in our lives that are great leaders. Leadership takes wisdom and that takes humility. No matter what role you may be in today, there is someone who has been there. Maybe a different career, position or journey, but wisdom is key to growth and success. Where will you seek it out? How will you live it out?

Gaining or Storing?

Here is your stone!! "To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind." (Ecclesiastes 2:26 NIV). Live in His will, gain wisdom. Live out of His Will? Gain work. How will you Live it out?

I long for Your...

Here is your stone!! "My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times." (Psalm 119:20 NIV). Imagine. Everyday you wake up and you desire, crave, and long for God's law. To truly want to live out His commands daily. A desire that shapes not only your day, but your life. Is it that hard to imagine? Aren't we as Christians called to live this way? Desire it, seek it, and Live It Out!!!

How is your GPI?

Here is your stone!! "When you walk, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; when you awake, they will speak to you." (Proverbs 6:22 NIV). Guidance, Protection, and Influence (GPI) that is our role as parents and older adults. Now to me it's more than just younger people knowing to come to those parents or older adults. This is a BIG reminder of the order God created. Your actions, words, beliefs, and even your overall attitude; can/will influence how those we are called to GPI will approach the future. Think about the things you say or do, that you know was from an influence in your life. Is it worth passing along? Is it time to change the GPI plan you have been operating? God gives us His GPI, are we ready and willing to pass that on and Live it Out?!

Almighty or All My Need?

Here is your stone!! "People who have wealth but lack understanding
are like the beasts that perish."(Psalm 49:20 NIV). In 1986 many had a chance to see a movie called "The Money Pit", their plan, their dream house that every time they turned around their "Dream" was eating up all of their cash as it continued to have Problems. Imagine a dream that had issues, not perfect, yet we Had to Have It!! A world where our thought is that we need money to obtain that dream. Now imagine a Truth. The fact that God's Truth lived out will never fail. How can people all over the poorest countries still have dreams? They believe in "The Almighty" not "The All My Need.". Desire the Truth! It's not about currency but rather eternity. Live it out!

Wish you could lose the excess wait?

Here is your stone!! "Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." (Psalm 27:14 NIV). In our world of immediate gratification, waiting is not only hard, it's rare. As I read this scripture, it feels like David is not only aware that he must be patient, but it can give you the feeling that he is reminding himself. That talking to your self moment when you sometimes even say your own name. "Ok Jeff, wait. Stay strong, but wait!". God answers in His time and the answer is always right and best. Are you strong enough for the perfect answer? Is it your schedule that drives your life our His? His word is filled with answers and promises, is your heart filled with patience and FAITH? You have read it now, can you LIVE IT OUT?

Every Role Rules!!

Here is your stone!! "The Dung Gate was repaired by Malkijah son of Rekab, ruler of the district of Beth Hakkerem. He rebuilt it and put its doors with their bolts and bars in place." (Nehemiah 3:14 NIV). Ok so how many times have we felt like we had been given the job to repair the DUNG gate? Now interesting point is that when reading the book of Neh 3, 1-30, you will see every section listed out. Not on order of value, but in order to show progress. Each piece ties to the next and each person accomplished their task. In the end, each piece documented of equal value. No matter how insignificant you may think your piece of the wall may be, without you, their is no wall. Know your role and that it brings value. Live out the examples given to us. Their is great reason why God wanted that info documented. Now that you know, how will you Live It Out?
